Shady companies are now offering people "medical credit cards" to pay for procedures they can't afford.

These cards from companies like Synchrony’s CareCredit can end up trapping people in medical debt.

One patient compared it to signing their life away.

And yes, of course, it's the United States, land of 100 million people in healthcare debt, and 100 million more unable to get the care they need at all.
