Okay, so use Telegram's secret chats feature. E2EE. Other chat tools have it by default but with Telegram you need to opt in.

Is your group sharing over a Telegram group? I would be very careful with that since Telegram accounts are associated with a phone number. So yes, I would use a burner. I would also be encrypting the files and obscuring their names.
