woke means more than that tho. it's more like awakened or progressive. a word youths used to compliment people with a tolerant and supportive mindset.
Possibly more about progressism and conservatism. Left is about anti-capitalism. It used to be about anti-king
they say it like that, to show they want to actively destroy progress and tolerance.
when someone is anti-nice, they aren't just ugly or liking ugly; they want to remove or destroy everything nice.
I've oft argued the term woke is rather wokish itself
