I get a Uline catalog in the mail each year, but have no idea why I'm on their mailing list. Flipping through it, the items seem quite expensive for what they are.
They literally go through public directories and send them to anyone who might have any sort of purchasing power.
At every job I've worked at as an admin, we will get 5-10 each year addressed to any manager, facilities, or finance person of any sort.
I make sure I remove their names using the unsubscribe thing every year, and then the next year they'll send another addressed to a whole new group of people.
I fucking hate uline.
Everything Uline sells is cheaper elsewhere, often by a long shot. They exist because they are convenient for purchasers and because they send swag for the warehouse crew to steal.
I thought Grand & Toy was the big name in Canadian office supply.

Edit: seems they only do online orders now. They aren't Canadian any more, they were bought by an American company in 1996.
Dang, American parent company strikes again.
Uline is more like "warehouse supply" than office. Like, if I want an anti-static workbench for an electronics tech, then Uline is where I would previously go.
