Hell yeah
If you do, please take my money and give me twelve.
Done! Will post about it later with more pics but here's a sneak peek :)

HELL YEAH!
That’s a pretty fly butter knife.
Neat, you could crosspost this to lemmy.world/c/pocketknife.
I might take some better pics and do so, thanks :)
All the knives I see on that sub are real nice though mine is pretty rough not sure it'll fit.
KNIFE IS KNIFE
(Yours is good :D)
Must a man burden himself with the ownership of a tactical butter knife for the sake of a perfectly level sandwich on the go? Truly an artisnal display of necessity and consumerism.
I like this and now wish I had a problem to solve with your solution.
step 1: unfold bread
OK hear me out:switchblade butter knife
You guys and your ideas are gonna drive me to make a collection of ridiculous butter knives
just watch out for the bobbies checking your butter knife license
You have placed within me the desire for a switchblade butter knife.
I need it.
Any opinions on making the handle with something like a 3D printer? I have a similar project I need to do myself for a workbench knife.
If you poke around, there are a few folding (knife, comb, practice balisong, etc) designs out there on 3dp sites
I'll definitely look at those, but I'll probably have to make a custom design. Without going into too much detail, this is a knife that will be repurposed from a salvaged metal-cutting hacksaw blade.
I have no experience with 3d printers but I would say as long as your filament is strong enough I don't see why not.
It would make it easier to precisely design.
Nice job, it looks cool.
