How can i remove the DuckDuckGo and Wikipedia searches from the menu? (lemmy.world)

I know it's possible because i did it a couple weeks ago, then something broke and i had to reinstall Mint. Unfortunately i didn't document what i did and i'm struggling to find anything about it online, just one thread on the Mint forums that turned into an argument with no solution, and another that had a solution ten years ago for Cinnamon.

When i open the menu with the super (or Windows) key and type something that's not the name of a program in the menu, it offers to search DuckDuckGo, search Wikipedia, search a dictionary, and search for files that match what i typed. I'd like to remove the DDG and WP search options since i never use them.

I'm using Mint MATE 22.2, though i don't know how much that matters.
