Following a "dialog with Apple since early 2024," Swiss companies now have access to iPhone NFC. However, COMCO says that the terms and conditions differ from those in the European Economic Area, and may not comply with Swiss antitrust law.
Other apps can use's iPhones NFC for payment functionality, the probe is to see if the requirements to be able to do so are reasonable.
