Re: Jonathan Bailey, Matt Bomer, Neil Patrick Harris, David Hyde Pierce, and Andrew Scott. Congruently straight actors are usually propelled into stardom for being 'sexy in a gay way':Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Jake Gyllenhaal (twice), David Corenswet etc. But actors like Ben Platt, Bowen Yang, Kim Joel Booster, and Johnny Sibilly are usually monocasted and have a distinct character they always play.
