I did a pick up for work from near the airport at 7:30 am. Goodness I have never seen traffic like that around the airport before.
I mean I've been in Aus for 31 years and used the place a fair bit, either for myself or meeting people. Never was the traffic that bad before. Busy busy busy.
Clothes washing day! Hanging out in a laundromat eating a bacon and egg pie.

Good morning. Well the crowd has certainly thinned out on the ferry and on the roads.
Last day today until the 12th which is a very decent break. Here's hoping for a cooler day today.
A couple that I know are heading to Tasmania, they said it was 18 degrees. Yeah some of that would be welcome all day today. ( Lol, nah I'd probably complain that it's too cold )

Why are private courier services and companies so fucking dogshit?
Five days a parcel I’m waiting on has sat in ~~TNTs~~ FedEx’s Redbank depot. Five fucking days.
We just get everything delivered to work which has greatly reduced any courier issues.
Unfortunately Australia Post still contracts out runs to the lowest bidder and now the bloke who delivers to our work address turns up at all sorts of crazy hours... 9pm is not uncommon.
On the one hand, you've got to admire the guy for putting in the hours to get it done.
On the other hand, it's a massive piss off because all our deliveries handled by Australia Post now need to get collected because obviously no one is at work when he rocks up.
This has the side effect of things that used to turn up first thing Monday AM are instead getting dropped off for collection on Tuesday at some point - typically around midday. So then you go and collect and now it's too late to use for a job on Tuesday so you have to postpone until Wednesday.
