Not related to this post here, but personally I've chosen to go the dumbphone route because I'm sick of the expectation of needing to be avaliable 24/7 amongst other reasons

Yeah I agree that expectation to be available 24/7 is honestly suffocating, especially for people who require alone time to recoup energy.

I find there is a need for digital minimalism in simple living. Or at least to not keep with the digital maximalism that is pushed to us in today society.

I have always had a dumbphone and it has been amusing to see the typical reaction change over the years.
