L m a fuckin o. The dystopia never ends. I was walking around the other day, and a profound sense of disappointment and sadness got to me, we have incredible technology, a beautiful world full of so many interesting and wonderful people, and yet a small number of them are hell bent on ruining it. Mass surveillance, shitty companies, fascism on a final rise, and being speed run in the US, AI, not used to help, but to spy, market, and steal more money from people who have little. It could be amazing, a utopia, instead just exploitation. :(

We have the numbers to resist effectively, but we need to get used to going out and organizing and working with each other. A coordinated campaign of disabling cameras should be a relatively easy thing to get going.

But there in is the problem, people gobble up trash like ring cameras, so what, am I supposed to get my 0 friends and go around ripping them off my neighbors doors? Flock is definitely possible and I’ve been pondering ideas for them.

Theoretically a little spray paint could work wonders. Or something like a strong glue, or a well aimed laser. I think there's also something called a WiFi deauthentication attack for a bit of temporary disruption.

Maybe posters on poles letting neighbors know that ICE is using their ‘private’ cameras to surveil them and their neighbors
