TLDR. I take vyvance and abilify with no side effects. I take all of my pills at the same time each day. Vyvance, in my experiencd, is the best pill for ADHD.
I've been stable on my pill regiment for quite a while with abilify as a recent addition. I take it because I have auditory and visual hallucinations. I hear music in the distance and I see shadows of people in my periphery. The adding abilify has completely removed this, and I've had no symptoms mixed with the vyvance.
The reason for this is, and it actually helps to have a doctor who will liberally prescribe pills, I've slowly modified my doses to tune what works best. This is a long process since you only want to be changing one thing at a time. It's a literal science where it is critical to stably change only one thing at a time and to document the results.
I imagine you don't take your pills every day at 4 am. Set a schedule for morning and night so you take your pills at exactly the same time. I take mine right when I up, after I brush my teeth, and at 6:30 pm when I have dinner. I say 6:30 pm since I have an alarm on my phone in case dinner plans change.
Use pill boxes. Especially with the vyvance because it's virtually impossible to maintain a 30 day supply. I color code mine fron week to week so I know when I'm running out. They go from green (good) the first week to red (bad) the fifth week. Having a schedule and pill management is absolutely essential before you worry about what dosing or interaction of medication.
Lastly, per vyvance. My experience is it's the best med for ADHD. I've taken regular and extended release adderal. The former gives you a short term bump. Almost a high. And the latter does roughly the same thing just over a longer period of time. Vyvance, when you consistently take it the same time each day, lasts smoothly the entire day.
I know our experiences will be different, but I hope that helps.
