Extension to load multiple tabs slowly ? (lemmy.ml)

I sometimes open many tabs together and that slow the browser

is there any extension that load tabs sequntially

or only load text and not image until clicked ?

Dunno any, but maybe your browser allows throttling connections? Gecko (Firefox's engine) would be a good contender, I'd say. It has a setting page among the about: ones with quite a lot of options.

IE7 is well known for being shitty. Have you considered using a modern browser?

Dunno if it's the OP's case, but setting a macro in Newsboat to run random-unread ; open-in-browser 50+ times is likely to make any desktop browsers lag from my experience, so I'd disagree with the culprit being an outdated browser or a poorly-optimized one.
