TIL a lot of countries, the most common way involves instant.

Although I'm disappointed Vietnamese phin coffee and one of the Indian techniques weren't included.

Nestlé ad.
(But it's a megacorp, so it can shape whole cultures by retail market and ad space monopoly, as well as production means.)

@zabadoh Hmm. I'm falling behind. I have only 7 different coffee makers:
1 Auto Drip
2 Pour over
3 French Press
4 Mocha Pot
5 Turkish Cezve
6 Aeropress
7 Espresso Machine

But I do have 4 different grinders!

I "only" have 5 coffee methods:

  1. French press
  2. Aeropress
  3. Cucumella
  4. Moka pot
  5. Instant

I had the opportunity to thrift a siphon brewer for cheap, but I don't have room for it, and the thin glass would have likely been smashed in a couple of weeks the way things get thrown around in my place. I hope it found a nice home.

  1. V60 style pour over brewers (V60 and Kono)
  2. Melitta style pour over (plastic and ceramic)
  3. moka pots
  4. French Press (350ml and 750ml)
  5. Clever Dripper
  6. Vietnamese Phins (medium and large sizes)

Also 4 grinders: 2 hand grinders and 2 electric.
