People living in autonomous regions, and sure. Who wouldn't want to live in a community run by the community vested in its own wellbeing rather than a community run by a capitalist class vested in how much they can extract from your community.

What the fuck are you on about? Go look up places like the Chiapas and see how modern cities and towns are run by community not the state.

And they produce their own steel? cars? Electronics? They don't need to make money through employment? Even if you enjoy some degree of local democracy, you're still part of the global machine.
