I have a Raspberry Pi 4 that I have RetroPi installed on. I am thinking if I should get a Raspberry Pi 5 and install RetroPi on it. Has anyone who has tried this think it is worth it?

First question I would ask: Do you have games which are running not fast enough on your Pi4?

So far, no. The ROMs I currently have are SNES and PS1. I am planning on adding more for SEGA and N64.

Did some digging and found that N64 is hard to emulate. Reports are that Pi5 RetroPi runs N64 games fine, while Pi4 is "hit or miss". Sega Saturn games are reported to run fine on overclocked Pi4, but think that Pi5 would be better choice here, too.

Please note: Have not tested both on Pi4 nor Pi5, so it is not from my personal experience.

Where did you hear that? I definitely want to research it more now. I may just go ahead and get the 5 just to see the differences.
