I’m not in a place where I can adopt a pet, but have shared it with my friend group. Hoping that helps

Thank you so much! Everything helps. And even if someone can temporarily foster, that would save her life and give her a chance to be adopted.
You’re welcome! At the very least I’m hoping that by word of mouth it reaches someone who can. I feel for any animals in this position.
UPDATE: It looks like Margo was rescued from euthanasia by a local rescue, but we are not sure which one. I think I found the rescue and the person who agreed to foster her, and just waiting to hear back from them. Lemmy’s own [@CreativeShotgun@lemmy.world](https://lemmy.world/u/CreativeShotgun) wants to adopt Margo - and I will keep you all posted on the resolution

ABOUT MARGO:
Margo is a 1-year-6-month-old Chihuahua mix who is extremely stressed in the shelter. She is fearful, snapping at the leash, and showing defensive behaviors, but she is not aggressive. With a quiet, patient, rescue or foster home, she can decompress, gain confidence, and thrive.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Dogs like Margo are at high risk in the shelter due to stress and fear-based behavior. She needs a calm, experienced foster or rescue to step in immediately for safety and socialization.
Margo does not deserve to die in the shelter for being scared. She needs ONE RESCUE OR FOSTER TO STEP UP to save her life.
Olf you can help, please email IMMEDIATELY and include her ID #A2056864:

Please share. A rescue or foster today means life for Margo.
Thank you for the update. I’m glad to hear that Margo was rescued!
You are welcome - she is currently being fostered, but we have a person here on Lemmy willing to adopt her. So her story will have a happy ending!
