Might get a brand new Hyundai INSTER, worried about ICCU (feddit.dk)

Hey my good people, what is the consensus on buying new Hyundai cars? I might get an INSTER but recently learned about the ICCU problem. Supposedly not as common for whatever platform the INSTER is built on.

Should that dissuade me from getting the INSTER? Or is it maybe the case that getting a brand new car should make me feel at ease because of warrenty and the bet on Hyundai fixing the issue eventually?

Also, the availability and price in my area is probably very different for others in this community (almost no used EVs), so I won't really consider advice on other car alternatives for price reasons. Just if I should avoid this particular car or not.

I am avoiding another hyundai until the iccu issue is officially resolved.

You should be fine if you are buying a new one. You might even be OK with a used one if you can confirm that is has gotten the fix
