I can see the parallels, and am disturbed by it, but I feel the US happenings are a level of magnitude worse than what is going on here.

None of our citizens or immigrants have been eg, put in offshore camps.

Oh, wait. Christmas Island. PNG. Oh. Oh no.

Are we the baddies too?
