On my homeward bound ferry trip yesterday there was a young bloke, 19 ish, with a hoodie and a BEANIE !!!!!!!
LOL. And shorts and thongs so yeah that happened. This is on the 2:40 ferry so at the warmest point in the day roughly.
Ah, autumn is here... the first sook of the season has bloomed.
Though wearing a beanie and hoodie with shorts and thongs does remind me of the young ladies back in our hoon days who would be wearing tiny little pants in the middle of winter... but then ugg boots, massive fluffy jackets, and beanies. Looked like Plovers strutting around all top heavy.
I've seen plenty of young people around in hoodies and long pants, even in Summer.
Read somewhere it's a social anxiety thing, so they can hide a little and not invite interactions. Either that or pure fashion choice.
Yeah I get that. I feel more sorry for the people that need this kind of stuff for fashion I think.
