Claude is trained primarily on the open internet. This means that for every story of superman, there are 100 posts on r/relationshipadvice that detail abusive families. People mostly read comics offline, but family drama spread like wildfire online, increasing its weight in any AI training. Superman has always been a "take the high road" character, and Lois tends to be the one to take the higher road and call Clark out on his mistakes, so the idea that they both suddenly become ultra-negative parents makes no sense to me.
