High triple digits means 500 million-1 billion (-1). That’s not a small amount.

yeah, its a shit ton of money, but google is worth fucking 4.62 trillion fucking dollars. Lets the eu fines them the highest. 1b$. A shit ton of money. That is 0.021% of their total value. 0.021. Are you fucking kidding me. Comperatively to their worth, its pennies. The equivalent for fining an average american worker, making the average wage, which is around 65,000$ lets say would be $1365. In 2025 alone, google MADE 400 fucking billion. Its a fucking small amount. Stop spreading propaganda about these big companies.

Stock market value isn’t how much money a company has. And Google “only” made 132 billion in 2025, revenue isn’t income. So 1 billion is almost 1% of their global income for the entire year. It’s not a small amount. On top of that they only made 33 billion in revenue (not income!) in the European market, so it’s an even higher percentage, more like 12% of their income for the entire year.

It’s a fucking huge amount for any market to be fining Google. Yeah it’s nothing in comparison to their global worth, but you’re acting like they’re going to get fined out of existence which will never happen.

you made a mistake in your comparison, it’s actually even worse. 0,021% of 65000$ is 13,65$

Fines for companies (and anyone with such a thing as a net worth) should start at 10% of their valuation for the most minor of offenses, and quickly go up from there.

And be proportionally applied to the company, the stockholders, and the board, who should also face personal criminal responsibility.

And that doesn't include damages, which should also be paid proportionally by all three (if you're a stockholder and on the board, fuck you, you pay twice, you parasitic bastard).

Just the cost of doing business. That fine is like fining regular folks $100.

Rookie numbers. Off by orders of magnitude.
