I like Jojo along with death note. Sometimes fun things are just wacky and weird so YMMV. I can totally understand why you don't like it though!

Right? The most difficult part of writing is convincing people that the 'X' character you are writing is 'X.' The second most difficult part of writing is writing an 'X' character that is actually 'X,' which is made much more difficult if the author isn't 'X' or has had a lot of time interacting with people who are 'X.'

In the case of death note, X = intelligent.
