Kind of surprised that Jacobin would publish something like this (should I be?). For a very different view, have a look at this: https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/chris-smalls-is-still-fighting-the-bosses
Jacobin also joined the Zionist imperialist propaganda campaign against Iran at the start of the invasion (Everyone know the best time to criticize a foreign government is when the USA is about to invade it). They're like NYT-lite or Owen Jones/Mehdi Hasan types.
They're left until someone at the top wants to spread the next imperialist propaganda thing, and then they count on a large enough portion of their audience uncritically repeating what they say because of Jacobin's reputation as a "leftist" outlet.
