I just discovered the Cinnamon extensions "Burn My Windows" and "Compiz windows effect" (programming.dev)

... and I'm having a blast! What simple yet incredibly well-designed extensions! I wish someone told me about these earlier, haha. Cinnamon-Screenshot is also nicer than the default; I mapped that to PrtScn. And Fancy Tiles of course everyone should always have on any 24+" monitor.

I was reading about them and reading their reviews and it seems that Compiz does the same thing but is more recently updated. Am I wrong?

What exactly does it do? This provides wobble when you drag a window by mouse or maximize or restore it or tile it around using Super+Arrow. Is there something that yours does that this doesn't?

Fancy Tiles is great! I hope it will be available on the Extensions Store soon, so that more people can find it.

How do you have Fancy Tiles configured? There seem to be so many options. My configuration probably wasn't intended, because I changed some values in the configuration file as the maximum value of the sliders wasn't enough.

I only have a 30" monitor so I just split it as 2×3. The bigger problem I'm having is that I prefer to be able to slot the windows without the mouse, but Super+Arrow sticks to Mint Cinnamon's 2×2 grid.

Then my next preferred method is solely using both mouse buttons, but for some reason, it's now getting interfered with by the context menu showing up when I press the right mouse button; it used to not do that before, so I wonder if some other program is usurping my controls, even though I can't figure out what that may be... I may have to go with a left-handed modified key, my least preferred approach...
