Ah so private equity is the reason Southwest is going down the shitter! Of course it is.
Stopped flying southwest the minute they changed all this. Pointless to fly with them if I’m going to have to pay for luggage and pick assigned seating anyway. That was the only reason to fly with them! If I wanted the cheapest flight I would fly spirit or frontier. If I cared about my seating position I would pay for the early boarding, if I wanted other benefits I would just choose a different airline.
