I love music, but I gotta say I never heard of about 5 of these names before. Also outside of car radio I never listened to any of these people on my own outside Kendrick, and even that was years ago. I guess I can include Eminem as well, but the last time I listened to him was like 2002 so not really.

Piracy killed the record business, which no longer scouts talent the way it once did. Streaming killed radio, making much harder for local artists to break through. This is the result.

I'm not pro record biz or radio, but they had their uses.
