What the fuck. How can they possibly be seen as fit to stand trial? Seems like any conviction would be a slam dunk to turn over with an appeal.
My hope is that it was ticking a required box from the states side, like they’re required to inform him why he is a prisoner.
In a just world he’d need to be informed regardless of his condition within a period of time, but of course simply be in medical care until he’s able to stand trial.
