The Allied Mastercomputer has destroyed all of humanity except for five people, whom it has been keeping them alive and torturing them for the past one hundred and nine years by designing virtual adventures based on their fears and weaknesses.

FIVE DAMNED SOULS

I had this game back in the day! Such a good game. Of course, I got it on Steam or GOG a couple of years ago. Still great!

This is an excellent book (short story?) to game port! Probably one of the best there is.

I didn't even know there was a newer version of this, I've only played the original release (I probably had to mod it to get it working on my last play-through). That being said, the compatibility upgrade doesn't seem all that great based on the screenshot, still better than nothing I guess.
