That's what I assume (either that or they got really mixed up because the movie was released on July 3). But "observed" is not stated anywhere, and it's just funny to see the "4th of July" described as being on the 3rd.

Time zones perhaps? Your local time zone may be ahead of the US and their 4th of july (midnight) falls in your 3rd of july?

I'm in the Continental United States and wasn't using a VPN, so that theory doesn't track (good guess, though!)

If I'm looking up a movie or TV series, I always do either:

  • imdb [movie name]
  • wikipedia [movie name] film

And generally get the correct results.
