Ok, I start: I like synthwave, synthpop and sovietwave. And it’s not as much a question of focus as the fact music energized me, so lyrics are also ok and even welcome and I don’t get distracted at all.

video game music, lofi type beats back when it wasn't slop, this sort of thing.

can't concentrate on anything intensive if i have lyrics or music that's way too grabby scrambling my thoughts.

I do podcasts covering leftist political theory and current events.

I prefer music in foreign languages while im working so I dont have the language overhead.
