I've come home to my ducks being free in the yard 3 times this week. Every time I patch a hole, another one is made. My ducks are well trained so I was able to get them in easily. The two most notorious escapees led the others back in when I opened their gate

Use thicker fencing? I've got regular chain link for mine and haven't had any issues

I'm saving up to have chain link installed. I had a bunch of unexpected stuff that depleted my savings. :(

Fair, we use an old dog run so it wasn't extra cost to us to set up

The raccoons in my area don't seem to mess with privacy screening, maybe try that? We use it to block the view of our livestock from our house dogs and I've never seen a raccoon rip through it in the 3 years I've had it up, and I keep dog food on the inside of that yard

That's a good idea!

What's your fence made of?

Chicken wire is for keeping chickens in.

That's for poultry during the day. It's not for keeping predators out.

You want 1/4" hardware cloth for that.

I'm using chicken wire as fencing. I'm adding more wire and hardware cloth on top of that.
