I’ve recently decided to try and degoogle my life, or at least lessgoogle it. One app I use regularly is GoogleVoice. It works really well to keep my work and personal phone numbers separated. Also works reasonably well to keep my personal number clean from spam.

I'm looking for a mobile app (android) that provides similar functionality, What options do you know of that may fill this gap?

I've asked in Android@lemmy.world, but thought that i'd get more FOSS suggestions here.

You could choose any number of voip providers. There's free apps out there, but might not be as great as what you're looking for.

The only one I can think of isn't FOSS but is a smaller telecom in France who offers an OK priced service - OnOff for the same thing but not Google
