Would you all want to stay on b1.7.3? @Rick suggested we could update to a new major version every so often (with some limit seeing as we are "old school" minecraft). Poll: https://strawpoll.com/polls/kjn182BrGyQ

Besides that, if you have any suggestions or outstanding issues with the server you can tell me here.

Personally I would be ok with it if it doesn't happen too often (leaves plenty of time to play around/build with the new features after the switch)

Downside is that we are going to lose the amazing worldgen though

It definitely would not be a frequent occurrence, just when most people are ready for a bit more, we wouldn't just do it if people where not ready. It will still stay on the old versions but maybe we could work up to like 1.0 or something over who knows how long, It's completely up to the community.

I should also add that the world will still have the cool world gen for the most part as we would keep the same world. And by the time we reach a point where the world gen changes, a large portion of the world will already be beta terrain generation. Like I said it would not be a super common occurrence.

EDIT: I made a poll for this topic https://strawpoll.com/polls/kjn182BrGyQ

I would not be upset with having some more blocks and functionality. Even just b1.8.x is a major improvement, so I'd be down.

Personally I prefer the minimalism of b1.7.3 :)
