I have been playing on a single player world recently for the past week but decided to get a server to play with others. I plan on it being a small SMP with around 5-10 active users. If you are playing on Bedrock then you have the option of using a menu for some basic commands such as /sethome and a few other things. I am trying to find out a way to make it easy for bedrock players to TPA but I am going to have to figure something out. For now you will have to manually type the command.

This mod allows you to see other world spaces as LODs. I never heard of it and it seems fairly underrated, I instantly added it to my load order after finding it this morning.

The project is open source and anyone can create instances, that's why its irrelevant.

They will see a spike in revenue but people will get bored and stop caring about the sub after a while

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

Not when they disable ad blockers like twitch

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

I'm aware, With this new article it seems they are going to become much more aggressive with ads and I expect them to get rid of old.reddit in the future to force even more ads on people with this change.

And that's why they will get rid of old.reddit. If they are cutting third party apps to increase ad revenue, then they will do the same with old.reddit

Yeah im not dissing or anything, I understand lemmy is still in its infancy

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 21 points 1 year ago

That's not my issue, no matter what I select the new posts still appear constantly.

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

I'll be using both but I hope the strike goes on longer. Reddit mods have no idea how to strike or what a strike entails. Imagine if ghandi broke his hunger strike because he got hungry.

I have one leg mb

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 49 points 1 year ago

I expect an even larger jump when on July 1s and onwards, that is where a lot of growth will come from.

[-] Rick@lemmy.world 33 points 1 year ago

That's not how reddit normally works, they are aging out VERY fast for the amount of upvotes they have
