Everyone is blowing this out of proportion. If third party apps are going to make money off of the back of Reddit it's only fair they pay up.
As far as the protests right now I see it as a form of brigating Reddit site wide. All the subs and their moderators should be permanently suspended for engaging in this behavior imo.
I was permanently banned from r/196 for attempting to have a civil debate on the trans issue so it won't surprise me if I get a permanent suspension here as well for once again attempting to have a civil debate.
Civil discourse is the only way forward โ๏ธ& ๐
