Heh... I had a friend in college with this. He said it worked great to hold cereal bowls, but at least he used a bowl :P

A guy in highschool had it, he joked a lot about when lying on the beach, kept water in it etc. No idea about the actual medical impact, but he seemed cool with it, and also had a girlfriend.
