I think we're all excited to see Havertz today so we can see how Arteta plans to utilise him. Only 11 hours until kick-off.
As long as he's not the main striker I think he'll do great.
Nah, I think he'll play in midfield.
Yeah I assume he's our Xhaka upgrade.
Where are Nurnberg vs Arsenal playing?
Location: Nurnberg, Germany 🇩🇪
Stadium: Max-Morlock-Stadion
Date: Thursday 13 July
Kick-off Time: 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST / 13:00 ET / 10:00 PT
Arsenal predicted lineup vs Nurnberg
(4-3-3): Ramsdale; White, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Jorginho, Odegaard, Havertz; Saka, Jesus, Trossard.
Where'd you get this? I'll steal this for the thread lol
Please do!
Some random (to me) site, don’t think they put much energy into that prediction: https://www.90min.com/posts/nurnberg-vs-arsenal-pre-season-friendly-tv-channel-team-news-lineups-prediction-13-7-23
Hoping to see some Saliba today. Been far too long. Would be neat to get a side of Tomiyasu also, and some Nelson to top it off.
Garnished with a little ESR
Now I'm thinking what condiments/spices each player would be lol
Obviously Saka is chili peppers but beyond that...
@Astrealix seems the match will be available for free on youtube: https://arsenalfc.social/@Goonerworks/110707694848596492
Yeah, but I want english commentary so I'm just gonna take to the high seas lol
Saliba back is good news
Do y'all think Runarsson sees the pitch this preseason? He's on the trip cuz Turner's off being let down by Roldan, and he made it ahead of Arthur Okonkwo and Hillson (who should really be sold for his own sake)
Not even on the bench, so I guess that probably answers that lol
Hmm, do actual match threads work in the Fediverse? I'd imagine it might not work so well with live comments being synced from instance to instance.
What is even going on... why is Kiwior playing and not Tierney, and where the hell are Gabi and Zinny
And Tomi actually
Zinny probably injured again. Maybe just wanting to try Kiwior in the Zinny role against easier opposition.
I'm fucking tired of our players being constantly injured man... I'm pretending they ain't, but these three were all injured end of last season...
I hope Gabi is recovering nicely. Tomi and Zini seem like they are chronically injured. Hopefully Timber coming in relieves some of those issues.
To be fair, Tomi's was one big injury, us rushing him back for the Liverpool game, then a freak accident in the Sporting game. Not quite chronic stuff, just bad luck and bad management
We have to build the depth to be able to deal with April. Derails us everytime.
I know it's the first pre-season match but why aren't they even on the bench :(
