As a middle aged diabetic: I bet it’s only 5-10 years out!
These headlines have been around since you had to read them in magazines.
We just finally got a FDA approved product using islet cells from donors and I think that's been "coming soon" since I was like 10.
Bingo. For me, it’s been “5 years away” for 33 years.
This and artificial artificial kidneys are two things I can't wait to see in practice
Fingers crossed this works out. It sounds conceptually super cool
I really hope this happens
