There's nothing inherently hypocritical about calling something an "asshole move" and then voting for it. It just means you're an asshole, which is no great surprise.

If the last (counts on fingers) 7 years have taught me anything it's that "loudest asshole in the room" is core to the modern Republican brand.

That's an interesting read. You can feel the "I have to keep the party happy" and "I know the Senate will block it anyway" fighting in her words. If only politicians would stand up for their actual beliefs instead of trying to keep their jobs.
