Jerboa forgetting account (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 1 year ago by snota@sh.itjust.works to c/jerboa@lemmy.ml

[BUG] Twice now jerboa has forgotten my account, I have to log in and then restart the app to view my subscribed feed. Might just be because of the update so I'll see if it happens again.

Many instances are doing somewhat frequent refreshes of login tokens right now. This invalidates any open login sessions you have, causing you to need to sign back in.

Not sure if related but my nsfw account is unusable on jerboa. My subscribed feed is empty as if I'm logged out and I appear as anonymous on the account selection but my all feed is from lemmynsfw. Account settings do nothing because I'm effectively logged out as soon as I log in. Everything is normal on web.

Try deleting the cache and app data.

Happened to me once.

Lemmy.world died early today. Seems it depends on the server staying functional.

Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
