Well that's going into the nightmare folder.

Really makes me wonder about all the silly corners cut every day. I wonder if heavy winds were on the forecast. That event is going to haunt everyone, I can't imagine the grief the teachers must feel, let alone the parents.

Yeah. I think it's just a failure to realise the potential risk.

Like if anyone there on the day had known there was even a remote potential for 6 kids to die from an accident involving an inflatable castle then obviously things would've been done very, very differently.

I guess people just thought you anchored it so it didn't move too much when the kids jumped without any real understanding that the thing might just fly away.

It's a tragedy to be sure. I'm glad that safety is taken seriously here. The company does need to be held responsible but I'm not sure what punitive measures are appropriate.
