AOC isn't old enough to run for president.

like, seriously. there's only 3 rules to be president, and two of them are "born in the usa or you were around before the usa existed". The other is "be 35+"

jfc. you people. 🤦‍♂️

don't discourage people from owning personal cars. most of the time this mentality is just a tax on the poor.

Flip the idea. Encourage people to not use cars instead.

  • not just bike lanes, but bike storage & lockers
  • not just public transport, but better connections between transport modes (buses with bike carriers, train stations with better car parking and bike lockers and bus connections)
  • more small car parking bays with all large truck bays further away from the stores
  • more motorcycle parking bays
  • cheaper motorcycle registration, etc.

it's all about spending money and effort in the areas you want it. Not about being restrictive.

it's a slower method of conversion, but more effective.

only in the usa would portable, mobile, hand, cellular phones have an -area-code- and be locked to where they were first enabled. only in the usa would the concept of "long distance" calls matter or apply to these phones.

you are this community personified.

I think I can hear the 80s knocking at the door. They seem to have something to say.

UK doesn't work like you think it does. The PM is not a publicly elected position like in the USA.

You vote for the party. The winning party tells you who, of their elected members, will have that role. The party can replace the PM on a vote.

it's like the speaker of the house in the USA. Remember all the voting and stuff the Republicans did earlier? Similar.
