I don't really know what that means in this context

That's the thing-- they're fighting him tooth and nail. I hope he succeeds but we know this party is happy to subvert democratic processes whenever inconvenient to the leadership

How do you plan to succeed with the DNC???

[–] AfricanExpansionist@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 weeks ago

WTF are you talking about?

I think this is also great speculation and absolutely spot on in both your "Russian roulette" point and making other about money. Maybe Bibi threatened to block Trump from wetting his beak in Gaza so he "picked up his ball and stomped home"

Related: I do wonder why liberals are losing their shit over the Qatari jet. They're claiming that it convinced him to sit down with Hamas. Talking with Hamas is a good thing, IMO

Since November, I've been cautiously hopeful that Trump might improve the situation in Gaza. I'm no Trump fan, but I think sitting down with Hamas is a step in the right direction...

Prior to the election, Trump had previously made veiled statements basically saying Israel/Netanyahu was the problem, not Palestinians or Hamas. Given Trump's personality, I'm sure he doesn't like getting bossed around by Bibi. Then again... They probably have Epstein Island in Trump's intelligence dossier

Exactly this. They're not a political party they are a corporate entity whose job is sitting in chairs to block actual political parties from having a chance
