Somehow in my mind he's still in his early 60's. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that he's 80 years old already, guess I'm getting old myself.
Guns kept in a car usually aren't required to be locked up if the car itself is locked.
Common sense requires it if there is a chance you'll be leaving a toddler alone with it.
If it's written in the law, it's lawful. You can of course (and should!) debate about the morality of the diverse forms of lawful interception, but a blanket statement like '"lawful interception" is a fallacy', is a fallacy in of itself.
For $250000 I'm totally fine with him showing me his penis. Unfortunately I think he won't be interested now that consent is given though. ☹️
The reaction between a shield and laser is completely random, not knowing wether you are going to vaporise a few molecules, an entire city or everything in between makes it very unreliable for warfare purposes.
And you'd probably find the whole Landsraad against you, as using atomics is outlawed. While a bomb like that isn't an atomic weapon by definition, the effects are the same and it stands to reason that they'll therefore still retaliate in full force.
"You're not being sacked, no, we are releasing you into a world of opportunity!" Yes, a friend of mine actually heard that one a while ago when he was 'let go'. 🤨
As a developer I can only say: no matter how foolproof you make your product, you will always encounter that one special user.
Also, the shape has horrible aerodynamics. If it had a combustion engine, they couldn't sell it in large parts of the world due to fuel efficiency.
I doubt it will get a type approval in Europe anyway, seems absolutely no consideration for pedestrian safety has been given. If this thing is as stiff and solid as Musk said it was it is also going to fail miserably during crash testing. Having been in a car crash this weekend I can testify how crumple zones save lives. Good thing the whole "but it's a light truck" loophole they used in the US isn't going to fly here.
As a native speaker I would say Dutch is a very functional and serious language. So serious that any attempt of writing a piece of fiction in Dutch results in a laughable piece of cringe inducing word vomit, with sentences and utterances feeling so forced that every single word had to be stapled to the paper.
No. I'm exercising my Musk-given right of ultimate free speech and will continue calling it Twitter, just because I feel like it. Musk would be proud of me standing up against censorship. Oh wait..
Why YSK: there are times when you need to not be stinky. A multi-day outing with friends staying in one house comes to mind.
Sorry, I have a hard time coming up with reasons why you should not be stinky in such a case. Do you have a toilet in the middle of the living room on outings? Otherwise who cares? Shit stinks, perfectly normal, absolutely no reason to hide that. People should stop being ashamed for bodily functions instead of medicating them away.
RIP my LG robovac. Dutifully cleaning and mapping my house without having any kind of wireless connection ability whatsoever. Until it mistook my stair for just another dark corner. 😭
