DroneRights finally got banned for being enbyphobic and is for some reason being used by OP as a poster child for ND accessibility on this site.
As an autistic enby person, I’m not particularly thrilled with any attempt to conflate my neurodivergence with a transphobe.
It pretended to while continually using transphobic dog whistles and clearly being in bad faith. OP talking over trans people who are pointing out this was pretty clearly a troll is honestly getting frustrating.
Even if it somehow wasn’t a troll, it was banned for a number of other issues that @dialectical_analysis_of_gock@hexbear.net laid out in her comment here:

you centered a user who repeatedly made extremely transphobic and enbyphobic statements in your post about ND accessibility. as an autistic and ND person who is also trans and enby I find it very difficult to set that aside in this post.
in good faith, I would really encourage you to maybe make a different post that doesn’t try to use a transphobe as a way to make a point. when I’ve asked for accessibility in the past people have been accommodating. the admins / mods here have a good track record in my personal experience.
Are you open to doing that? I’m honestly confused why you’re so invested in DroneRights instead of the many other ND people on this site saying it repeatedly made them feel unwelcome.

Yeah… To be pretty blunt, I don’t read that as a response to it being enbyphobic at all. I view that post as it posting about a related topic that is different from what they originally said. It comes across as intentionally trying to add ambiguity and waste everyone’s time.

this. it was enbyphobic and generally just toxic. it always seemed to have a jab ready to go at someone. deeply unpleasant.
I’m also ND and it should absolutely not be a pass to being toxic. as an example, experiencing RSD doesn’t give you a free pass to be cruel to others.
hexbear isn’t somehow ableist for keeping this safe space for everyone. I think DroneRights honestly got waaaay more slack from the mods than an account would typically.
thank you for answering. I understand why you want to improve ND inclusivity, that’s something I care about too. As an autistic person and a trans/enby person, though, I think DroneRights ban was correct. It was actively transphobic and enbyphobic.
I get why you might not have noticed a lot of the dogwhistles as a cis person, but I’ve been experiencing transphobia for years both online and IRL (unfortunately). I’m also frustrated that one of the first systems that’s come around on this site was either an outright troll or just deeply unpleasant.
encouraging folks to use tone indicators is a cool idea. a lot of the emotes wind up working that way for me, which is why I like them.
