Guess which of your competitors offer remote working and has a product that smokes you?

Haven't touched VMware for years Hyper-V does everything I need.

Now with Azure I don't even need to manage the virtualisation just use an arm template to spin something up in 2 secs. I know Azure compute uses something based off Hyper-V, haven't really used AWS, does Amazon use technology from VMware for their virtualisation?

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Windows 10 isn't even close to end of support.

If enterprise users haven't moved over then individual users don't need to.

I will move over before support finishes but make no mistake that'll be because I'm forced to due to security reasons and not because I want to.

My windows 10 enterprise has been running flawlessly.

Her mistake was to do it in a Muslim country. I have a Muslim friend you wouldn't even know if they didn't tell you.

Outdrinks everyone, sometimes eats pork but rarely. But that's because they only get pub food, according to him food just takes up space that can otherwise be occupied by beer/vodka/gin/burbon. Noone else I know Muslim or not goes to this extreme, it can't possibly be good for their liver.

He's at least smart enough not to do this in a Muslim country.

I mean Joe Lycett was briefly known as Hugo Boss, name didn't stick after he changed it back.

It's France they're very xenophobic. Just look at how they treat the Corsicans, Brentons, Basques and Catalans.

Night and day to even a few hundred metres across the road in Spain or Andorra.

China is all aggressive because they know it's now or never. Even before the bad news with their economy it was already a foregone conclusion beforehand.

Everyone knew their population would decline. Then their comparative advantage disappears. Their advantage is a shitload of people, even with a lower GDP per capita it's still significant as it's 4x the population as the next country (besides India, who are on an even lower GDP per capita right now)

Due to the sheer numbers they can use their internal market as political leverage. Disagree with them and no money for you.

There's a few skirmishes but I think Putin has made Xi think twice. Although I do believe China can sustain quite a bit of losses if they do go to war before their advantage of many people disappears.

Firstly they have excess males so theoretically even if they lose excess soldiers it wouldn't affect their birth rate as the issue is lack of women not men.

Might be a two eggs in one basket outlook for them, gain a bit of territory and rebalance their gender ratio.

We can only hope Putin's war has made Xi think twice whilst we bide our time whilst their population decreases.

Eh what's to investigate? We all know the plane was deliberately bought down to remove specific people from existence. Even blind Freddy knows this.

I always thought his channel was really dummed down. I watched a video or two and then noped out of it. Wasn't many if at all any tips from the so called tech tips site.

Oh and stating the obvious but he's 'sorry' because he got caught.

You don't even need to look at Carl's Jr. Just look at taco Bell I've walked past it and am convinced it's used as either money laundering or a tax write off. There's never anyone there.

Singapore's success is partly due to the absence of minimum wages and also the use of migrant workers like Qatar. Take that away....

ALP doing what the ALP does best.

Looking to can infrastructure that's almost completed and desperately needed for our housing crisis. A decade later and there doesn't seem to be any fresh ideas from their previous incarnation.

A better way is to change travel time from private time to company time with a cap so people don't abuse it.

E.g. Sydney maximum cap 2 hours each way, Canberra would be like 45 mins. To reduce discrimination for employers to discriminate by choosing closer people, every employer pays the maximum regardless of where the employee is located to the government and the government reimburses the staff, while pocketing the difference.

That's half the answer I think the other half would be.

  1. Run at a decent frequency - minimum a train every 15 mins off-peak, every 10 if possible. Peak every 3-5 mins.

  2. Run expresses from first to last train, this is put to great effect in Sydney but prior infrastructure needs to be completed beforehand. E.g. main routes are minimum 4 tracks, some 6. Dedicated freight lines also help so they don't conflict with passenger services. What I like is that Cityrail isn't afraid to run an almost empty all stopper next to an almost empty express.

  3. New lines to be done with metro. They seem to be better than trains as they can run every 2 mins, compared to trains would be hard pressed to run every But the main point is that it is faster than even express trains, meaning you can have way more stops but still be competitive with time. Nothing tells me that I should drive than seeing trains fly past my station due to it being classified as a "small station"

  4. Suburban interchanges - not everyone wants to go to the city so it's important to provide interchanges in the suburbs. Sydney is terrible at this, for example there needs to be a Hurstville to Macquarie Park line. There is not so two of the most congested roads follow this path because there's no option but to drive.

  5. Station integration - connecting directly to places of interest like shopping centres. And over station developments. Density helps a lot too.

  6. Get rid of car centric suburbs - many stations depend on park and rides which decentives public transport use.

  7. Better integrated transport. For example trams, they have their use on street in the city where the stops are closer and it already duplicates a faster line, but once it is out it should be running on dedicated tracks so they don't need to stop at traffic lights. Similar to parts of L1 and soon Parramatta light rail in Sydney where it is completely segregated with other traffic.
