I would pay good money for a stand-alone ME3 Multiplayer remake with all the bugs fixed, new maps, and less BS grind. I think I put almost 2000 hours into the multiplayer and still don’t have all the guns unlocked/upgraded

Yeah, I’m trying to de-Google my life while not going all out, if that makes sense. Thanks for the suggestions. I gotta say I never realized just how much I used my Gmail address as the login. I’m never tying my logins/passwords to a behemoth again.

Getting used to the notifications has been probably the biggest learning curve. I also miss having my app drawer exactly how I wanted it. I did get an Apple Watch, I had a Samsung galaxy 4 and couldn’t get it to pair with the iPhone. I gotta say I’m impressed l, I LOVE the watch. Got the SE 2nd gen, I think.

I’ve been using Google Pixels since they were Nexus phones and just activated my new 14 yesterday. It’s a little weird but I like it so far. I do miss twire instead of twitch, YouTube re-Vance’d, and Firefox with Adblock. What does a long term android user like me need to know/install/settings tweak/etc?

I'm going to be visiting Austin and was wondering about tickets to the Austin City Limits Festival. I would like to go to the second Saturday but the only option currently is to join the wait-list or buy overpriced tickets on the secondary market. Does the waitlist actually ever open up? Do tickets on the secondary market become more reasonable as the show date gets closer? Can't wait to visit your city!

Fallout 4 was fine. Fuck Preston Garvey. Fallout New Vegas is a contender for GOAT. Outer Worlds was fun for a minute but not quite there, but I think it is better than FO4 overall.

I don't think Trek is fine now. I don't think there has been a Star Trek revival. I love the Orville. I 100% believe the show is a success on its own. Unfortunately I don't think we are going to see more Orville and I would rather see McFarlane in charge of Trek than anything SNW will put out. SNW is fine. Lower Decks is fine. Compared to Discovery and Picard they are friggin masterpieces. But judged on their own they are just fine. In my opinion. Some people love them and I don't understand but whatever. I just want more cerebral sci-fi in any form I can get it.

I'm sure this has been said in other comments but I would love to see Seth McFarlane given the Star Trek IP and free reign. I would actually pay Paramount Plus or whatever streaming service like $20 a month while this theoretical show was active. As an aside I think Garak is the best character in all of Star Trek.

Our country's military is dependent upon keeping people poor and desperate. And that is the reason that programs to lift people out of poverty and give women body autonomy are being rolled back. The economic imperialism of the USA is the root cause of the refugee "crisis" in the first place. If Jesus Himself came before Congress the ruling class would label him a communist and have him killed.

Rings more true than ever before.

They are, but it is bigger than that. They do this because the people who vote them love the deaths, they love the pain. And the people who these hateful people vote in do everything they can to rig the system for the hateful minority.

The cruelty is the point. We have reached a tipping point in society where empathy is a determent to financial success. I think this may be yet another end result of capitalism. We are reaching a point where "enshitification" is touching every facet of society.

Not only does the state increasingly criminalize being un-housed, they are increasingly using their power to harass people who have any empathy and try to make a positive impact on the world for no profit motive. There is big money in helping "the homeless" as long as you don't actually do anything. All facets of government in the U.S. has become a system of graft and corruption. Mr. Smith wouldn't even get the chance to go to Washington because the DNC is just as complicit as the GOP.

Criminals giving criminals money, then socializing the criminals' losses, then gifting the criminals a golden parachute. There is the ruling class and everyone else. Most of the country is distracted by UFOs and drag queen brunches to care about the real problems.
