I’m still confused

Just so I understand this correctly, is this a post mocking 20-something year olds by showing topics they believe to be niche, complex, or exclusive to an intelligent audience? And that by understanding these topics they are “propped up” compared to their peers?

I own a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and am looking to tint my windows to protect the interior during the summer. Is there anything that I should be aware of when tinting the windows?

I am not too sure if this is the best place to post this, but I figured I'd share it.

Across Lemmy, I've noticed that the meme format has been restricted to images only (for obvious reasons). Well, I found a community today that is dedicated to expanding that format into GIFs. The community name is whenthe@lemmy.world. One of my favorite parts about the internet is the sharing of memes, so if any of you share this interest, I encourage you to subscribe to this community and start contributing! I was the first one to subscribe to it on this instance so everyone else should be able to see it now.

Could you elaborate on “federated with”?

Really appreciate the timely response. Thank you!

I’m really bought in to the Lemmy experience and I want others to share similar interests. However, I know they will have a massive amount of questions, and I want to be able to answer them in addition to my own curiosities. Here are a few questions that I have that I am still fuzzy on.

  1. I created an account on lemm.ee. Is lemm.ee a separate instance?
  2. When subscribing, are you subscribing to separate instances or different communities within a particular instance?
  3. What is the difference between lemm.ee and lemmy.ml?
  4. Is there any reason to make new accounts on different instances?
  5. When I’m looking at the “Local” feed, what am I looking at?
  6. What is the difference between the “Local” feed and the “All” feed?

Any additional information on these questions would be massively appreciated.

I’ve heard only the briefest information about what is going on with Reddit. Is the blackout something that is temporarily being done by the community or is it permanent?
