I watched it expecting the same campy tropes from other fantasy/sci-fi movies of the era and what I got was a movie deeper than it lets on. That score too, amazing.

Consider the perspective of the average person: who is gaining value from AI in its current form? It sure as hell isn't us.

That sounds amazing and we can always use more commentary on how media is made and consumed. I particularly enjoyed Network (1976) and Fahrenheit 451 (novel).

Don't Look Up is the real Armageddon lmao

My dad pulled me out of school just to wait in line for Phantom Menace tickets. I thought the prequels, while enjoyable, were the last time I would be disappointed by Star Wars.

I was so fucking wrong holy shit.

Gay men are men too?

There are trans people on the internet saying we should resist universal health care because some countries have shown hesitation when it comes to covering youth transitioning.

I'm here for these people but this proposal is stupid beyond belief. Unfortunately the identity-obsessed sometimes fight for this kind of absolute non-starter of an issue and it is in fact actively harming the greater good.

Just ask them how long 7 inches is. Prepare for an eye-opening experience.

Ugh true, it's really the worst of both worlds somehow.

Oh how I miss the beautiful simplicity of Win95/98/NT UIs. It seems as our screens have become larger, they found more shit to put on them that I don't want to see.

lol this is the problem with liberals, they believe everyone else is reading propaganda except them.

I don't give a fuck who made it up, I want democratic control of the economy. Anything else is secondary to that.
